Psychiatric Aides

Certification Description
Patient Care Technicians--are patient care assistants who perform routine tasks under the supervision or either nursing or medical staff. They typically work in health care facilities (e.g. hospitals, residential care centers) rather than in private medical offices, and some may work as home health aides. They often help patients with activities of daily living (bathing, eating, walking, dressing) and they may assist with other procedures.
