The Certification in Clinical Engineering (CCE) is a mid-career level certification for professional clinical engineers. A Clinical Engineer is a professional who supports and advances patient care by applying engineering and managerial skills to healthcare technology. Clinical engineers generally have backgrounds in engineering applied to the healthcare industry and have completed a period of education in engineering or related disciplines. In addition, they have experience as practicing clinical engineers.
