PSMO Certification is the metal fabricating industry's first comprehensive exam designed to assess a candidate's knowledge of fundamental precision sheet metal fabrication processes in shearing, sawing, press brake, turret punch press, laser cutting, and mechanical finishing. PSMO certification gives employers a tool to make better decisions in hiring new employees, training current workers, and promoting and retaining experienced team members. For operators who validate their accomplishments with certification, it can be a means to advance their career, obtain a promotion or raise, and help distinguish them as a skilled professional in their field.
